Hello and Welcome to A Piece of Lisa

My whimsical art dolls are individually hand sculpted from polymer clay, and lovingly embellished with fabrics and accessories to bring out their unique personalities.  My themes range from storybook characters to classic holiday favorites, with a strong emphasis on Halloween and Christmas.

My charming vignettes are original, mixed-media assemblages, designed to showcase my art dolls and tell a story. I use a variety of materials to set the stage, and no detail is overlooked as I fill them with both handmade accessories and found objects to complete the scene.

Each year I create a new collection of intricately detailed Christmas ornaments.  Each one is individually handcrafted from polymer clay, and my unique designs are limited to editions of five.  I sign, number and date every ornament.  They have been a favorite of collectors since 1990.
